Quality Management Systems - Aerospace Requirements for Maintenance Organizations
This standard includes ISO 9001 quality management system requirements and specifies additional requirements for a quality management system for aerospace maintenance organizations. The additional aerospace requirements are shown in bold, italic text. It is emphasized that the quality management system requirements specified in this standard are complementary (not alternative) to contractual, applicable law and regulatory requirements.
This International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization:
- Needs to demonstrate an ability to provide product that consistently meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and
- Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective
application of the system, including continual improvement
of it's system and the assurance of conformity to customer
and applicable regulatory requirements.
